Streamlined Registration Experience Introduced to all HiBid-Powered Auction Sites

The new registration flow boosts first-time bidders by 17% since launch based on its smoother, more intuitive experience.

Earlier this year, we introduced a redesigned registration flow on HiBid.com that accelerated users' ability to sign-up, sign-in and register for auctions. In October, we were excited to bring this same updated experiences to all HiBid-powered auction sites, and the results are undeniable. Comparing year-over-year, we're seeing 17% more first-time bidders as a result of this change.

Why We Built This

Expanding the updated registration experience to our seller's auction pages was a key next step after the HiBid.com success in Q3. Matt Schroeder, HiBid’s Product Manager, explains: “Auctioneers and Sellers rely on their white-label pages to represent their brand. Many invest in customization and analytics, so it was important that their bidders have the same clear, consistent registration experience introduced that was well-tested and proven on HiBid.”

Results That Matter

Since launching the updated registration experience, we’ve seen meaningful improvements in bidder behavior on these HiBid-powered auction sites, highlighted by the +17% increase in first-time bidders compared to the same period last year.

Just last week, additional updates were introduced to these seller sites, bringing the ease of Single Sign-On for new account registration and user login. With each enhancement, bidders will experience a more streamlined and intuitive path. We are excited to quantify and share the continued impact of these changes in the coming weeks.

Looking Ahead

Sellers can now upload a new "Primary Marketing Logo" in my.hibid.com that will be displayed on the new registration pages, giving the new experience a polished, personalized look. Instructions for uploading your logo can be found here
